This is a classic scarf aesthetic, the one most people choose to do when they wear a scarf.
So it won’t be very hard for you to master.
Take the scarf and fold it together. Then you want to take that and put it around your neck. Once you have done that, put your hand through the loop pocket and pull the other end of the scarf through. You can tighten it as you wish to. This one might be a little hard to master at first, but give it time and you will get it.
After all, it’s worth the effort the perfect fall style look that turns heads!
The classy Paris look
Take the scarf and put it around your neck.
Make sure that one end is longer than the other end. You want to take the longer end and wrap it around your neck twice, but not too tightly. Next, take the last bit of the once longer end and pull it though one of the loops you made. You’ll snug it so that it is set and won’t be loosening up throughout the day.
You can secure this look even more if you make a small knot with the scarf instead of just tucking the loose ends into another part of the scarf. This gives you a very elegant look for travel. Not traveling? That’s okay! It’s great for cocktail hour after work or even running errands on the weekend. Effortless. Classy. Magazine-worthy.
The necklace look

This one might be the most complicated look that you can create with a scarf but it will all be worth it. This isn’t exactly a starter place when you are learning how to wear a scarf. However, it will come in handy in the future if you learn it so that you can complement the lines and fit of different outfits.
As your ability to accessorize matures, you’ll find new ways to bring harmony to your ensemble. Tops that you may not have once believed “went with” a particular look or accessory…will then be on the table. You’ll unlock new doors to venture out into incredible stylistic alternatives you once only dreamed you’d experience.
You want to start by wrapping the scarf around your neck.
Take one end of the scarf and make half of a knot with it.
Then you want to take the other end of the scarf and finish the knot with that end. You want to do this same thing with the other side. Once you have done this, you should have a twisted necklace look from your scarf.
But don’t worry if you don’t get it the first time, this is one of the most complicated styles you can create with a scarf.
There are plenty more ways you can take your scarf-wearing to the next level and you SHOULD explore them! Try each and every single one. Practice, practice! You’ll want to experiment because you never know when you’ll stumble upon the next go-to folding or layering technique. You’ll see, take my word for it. You start enjoying the journey of trying new looks and testing them out in public.
But if you are trying to find something quick and to the point, these styles will give you a good baseline. To help you consider some bonus approaches, check out the tips in the video below (and definitely follow along).
